There's a silver necklace you can buy on the internet for some $112. That seemed way too expensive for my tastes and I didn't like the way the star was done in the center of the ouroboros. So I made my own necklace. A dogtag. And it only cost me:
~ $10 of silver
~ 3 to 5 hours of sawing, cleaning, soldering
~ 4 to 6 hours of cleaning and buffing
~ about 1 hour to color the recessed areas (and despite the errors I made, I think they give it character)
~about 5 days of fretting (it was a rushed job, I wanted it completed for the FMA one-time theater showing here in town)
I'm thinking of taking commissions for dog tags. With another 2 to 3 hours of cleaning and buffing I can make it reflect like a mirror.
That is pure awesome. If you did commissions, I would DEFINITELY order one!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
