Gangsta

Gangstas! After seeing this gangster looking version of the flamel: [link] I HAD to draw gangsta Elrics. I've actually wanted to do this for a long time, but finally had some concrete inspiration. So Ed's wearing the flamel as a bling. XD

I definitely wanted this to be a night scene and envisioned a light effect on it (actually used a flashlight effect in PS) so I had to exaggerate the depth of shadows and use really cool shadows, which I'm not used to doing. I love how this turned out though and I think I'm gonna be better about my shadows now so my fanarts don't look so flat.

The background is a stock image of bricks, while I used the font Degrassi and added a few effects (blood seal graffiti!) to give it the real gangsta look. Or Ed and Al playing gangsta, lol.
